Creative, science-infused outdoor art camp in Saugerties NY!

Let’s go wild for art-making! Foraging for wild plants, rocks, wood to create your own art materials, discover the treasures that lay around as you bond with the land, and let nature fuel your creative spirit. Check what’s going on in the raised beds of our Little Farm, and explore some more while learning to care for the plants and bugs that live there! Art-making, sensory awakening, free play and more will all be part of the daily fun. Come make friends from the animal and vegetable kingdoms. Join the adventure!

Sample Activities:

• Keeping a nature journal 

• Seed, plant, maintain, harvest from our raised beds 

• Soil digging!

• Bonding with our chickens and ducks 

• Play, draw, build big and small

• Make your own inks, paints and pens 

• Explore nature for crafts, make mushroom paper, plant prints and more!

Schedule:

Each camp is 5-days (unless otherwise noted) and runs from 9 am-3 pm.

Cooking With Nature

SESSION ONE // July 15th-19th // (Ages 7-9) $395

Embark on a culinary adventure and explore your child’s inner chef!

From soil to plate, embark on a culinary adventure. This year, we are adding an essential component to our signature cooking camp: we will be growing some of our food! For a whole week, the farmed fields, wild woods and our very own Little Farm’s raised-beds will be yours to care for and explore for the awakening of your taste buds. Kids will play with fresh off-the-ground flavors and textures to create their own dishes, make pasta or other favorites from scratch, and make friends with the farm’s ducks and chickens.  Daily lunch is included, prepared our campers!

• Explore the farm fields and wild grounds

• Grow vegetables and maintain garden beds

• Harvest from our raised-beds

• Bond with the chickens and harvest their eggs

• Learn simple food preparation techniques

• Share your inner chef’s ideas with others

• Make your own lunch menu and enjoy it with friends! (Included in camp fee*)
