Creative, science-infused outdoor art camp in Saugerties NY!

Let’s go wild for art-making! Foraging for wild plants, rocks, wood to create your own art materials, you will bond with the land and awaken to a sense of gratitude for the gifts that nature offers. Immersed in the farm’s woods, marshes, and farmed fields, you will tune your senses to the sounds and sights of nature, leaning into the mysteries around you to fuel your creative spirit. Art-making, science experimentation, free play and more will all be part of the daily fun!

Sample Activities:

• Peruse the ground, air and water for Earth creatures

• Keep a nature journal 

• Play, draw, build big and small

• Make your own inks, paints and pens 

• Explore nature for crafts, make mushroom paper, plant prints, papyrus and more!

Schedule:

Each camp is 5-days and runs 9 am-3 pm.

Embark on a culinary adventure and explore your inner chef!

Embark on a culinary adventure on the grounds of the White Feather Farm. For a whole week, the farmed fields, wild woods and marshes will be yours to explore for the enjoyment of your taste buds. You will play with fresh off-the-ground flavors and textures to create your own dishes, make pizza or other favorites from scratch, and you will make friends with the farm’s chickens!  Daily lunch is included!

Sample activities:

• Forage and explore the farm fields

• Bond with the chickens and harvest their eggs

• Learn simple food preparation techniques

• Pick your own produce

• Experiment with your favorite dishes

• Make your own lunch menu and share with friends! (Included in camp fee*)

• Cook by the fire and in the pizza oven

• Meet the farm crew

• Play games, make friends, and more
