Welcome to White Feather Farm, home to the historic Broken Wing Barn in Ulster County, NY. This charming Dutch barn offers a versatile space for intimate events, from weddings and family gatherings to corporate meetings and creative performances. With its blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, the Broken Wing Barn provides a unique backdrop for your special occasion, all set within our picturesque working organic farm.
The Broken Wing Barn
One of Ulster County's oldest Dutch Barns, the Broken Wing Barn is ideal for intimate private events, corporate meetings, small-scale music performances, and pop-up galleries.
Space: The Broken Wing Barn accommodates 60 people seated for dinner, 70-80 people for cocktails, and 80 people for seated presentations or meetings.
Total Event Occupancy is 95. Event attendance must be calculated by subtracting total event staff (renter’s staff and volunteers, catering staff) from Total Event Occupancy and then the final is the total number of event attendees that may attend.
Audio Visual Equipment: Basic lighting and speaker package available. Renters may bring their own equipment, but a White Feather Farm approved AV Technician must be present to run sound and lights (additional $300-500 depending upon needs).
Restrooms: 2 available restrooms in Broken Wing Barn.
Green Room: Small green room/storage room available upon request.
Parking Lot: On-site parking available (50 spots max).
Kitchen: Standard kitchen is available for caterers' food prep. WFF cannot store food, flowers or ice in advance.
Tables & Chairs: 6, 6ft rectangular tables & 80 folding chairs available. Renter responsible for additional furniture and linen rentals.
Covered Patio: Located outside the kitchen, suitable for guest use or caterer prep space.

Available outside WFF's operating hours (M-F 7am - 3pm and during WFF-hosted events). Event fee includes 7 hours total (4 hours of Event time, 2 hours of preparation, and 1 hour of break down). $350 for each additional hour. Day rates for meetings are available M-F, please inquire with the rental coordinator.

Lot near Broken Wing Barn accommodates 20 vehicles. Accessible parking available. Additional parking for 20 vehicles near the farm entrance. Overflow parking for an additional 10 vehicles can be arranged.

Guests may tour the working farm during daylight hours (to be arranged prior to the event). Guided tours available for an additional fee.

WFF provides a Venue Coordinator, Facilities Maintainer, and Parking Attendant. WFF Staff duties include venue preparation (not event set up), greeting caterers and venue renters, facility maintenance, and monitoring spaces. Note: Staff are not servers, bussers, or bartenders.

Rentals start at $2,000, subject to increase based on client needs.
Rental includes a 4 hour event time with 2 hours of prep and 1 hour of clean up; $350 for each additional hour after 7 hours
50% deposit required with signed contract to reserve.
Bookings required, minimum 2 weeks in advance.
Nonprofits may qualify for special rates, subject to event availability.
Daytime rentals for meetings are available. Please inquire with the Rental Coordinator.

Licensed caterer required for food and alcohol service. Renter is responsible for contracting and coordinating with a licensed caterer for their event. Alcohol service must be provided by a NYS licensed caterer and be served and consumed in accordance with NYS state regulations. Self-serve food (Breakfast Drops, Sandwiches and Sodas, etc) may be arranged. Self Serve alcohol and potluck style meals are not allowed.
Seasonal White Feather Farm flower packages are available upon request!
Freestanding decor is allowed. Nothing may be hung on any structure, indoors or outdoors without prior approval from the WFF Venue Coordinator.

All required permits from the Ulster County DOH and NYS Liquor Authority are required to be applied for and held by the renter.
For most events, WFF requires a certificate of insurance (COI) naming White Feather Farm, Inc. as additional insured for up to $1,000,000 in general liability for the duration of the event.

Full refund for cancellations 2+ weeks prior to the event.
No refund for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior.
WFF reserves the right to cancel for policy non-compliance.
Renter may reschedule event 1x without fee, at 2 weeks prior to the event pending availability.
In that event that inclement weather dictates that WFF requires to cancel the event due to safety concerns, Renter will be permitted to reschedule the event.

No smoking on premises.
No pets (service dogs permitted).
As a 501(c)3, WFF does not host political events and reserves the right to decline events contrary to its mission.
