Regenerative Agriculture

Across our 66-acre learning landscape, we practice regenerative agriculture as both method and philosophy. From the sugar bush to the beehives, hand-tended gardens to experimental research areas, every part of the land is cultivated to heal soil, support pollinators, and create space for emerging farmers.

Farmland

From 2020-2025, we've maintained approximately 1.5 acres for market garden production and agricultural research across four distinct field zones. Our certified organic land (CNG, Real Organic, NOFA-NY, USDA) includes hand-tended vegetable beds, high tunnels for specialty crops, and experimental research areas.

Sugarbush

We've been producing maple syrup  in our on-site Sugar Shack for seven years, tapping 90-100 trees annually. We actively engage the community in learning about this local tradition.

Beehives

Our hives are surrounded by pollinator-friendly plantings, demonstrating how pollinators increase crop yields while finding sanctuary in thoughtfully designed habitat.
