Akwesasne Freedom School Benefit (Hosted by Panther Mountain)

An evening of music, food, and community rooted in Indigenous sovereignty, cultural revitalization, and collective support.

This annual benefit uplifts the Akwesasne Freedom School — a Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) language immersion school located in Akwesasne Territory. Founded and operated by the community, the school receives no state or federal funding, relying on grassroots support to carry out its mission of Indigenous-led education, language renewal, and land-based lifeways.
