New Moon Ecstatic Dance

Join us for an evening of ritual, movement & meditation as we welcome the Virgo New Moon. This gathering combines free flowing dance and sound therapy in our historic barn space.

Program Includes:

  • Opening Circle (6:30-7:00 PM): Begin with a grounding cacao ritual and intention setting for the lunar cycle.

  • DJ Set (7:00-8:15 PM): Step into a phone-free, non-verbal space for free-form movement and deep release. Guided by global, genre-blending sounds, this set invites you to let intuition move your body and reconnect within. Dance barefoot or in soft shoes.

  • Sound Bath & Closing (8:15-8:30 PM): Gentle unwinding with restorative sound healing, meditation and a community closing circle

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable clothing for movement

  • Water bottle

  • Journal (optional)

  • Sacred item for the altar (optional)

  • Yoga mat or blanket for sound bath portion

Please Note:

  • Space is limited (advanced registration requested)

  • Arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in

  • This is a phone-free space. Thank you for silencing your phones in advance and keeping the event screen free!

  • No prior dance experience needed - all bodies and abilities welcome

  • Kids under 12 come free. Parents or guardians please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that minors follow the guidelines to preserve the sanctity of the space. When outside, please be aware that certain areas on the farm are off limits.

Sophia Bruun is an international yoga teacher, sound healer, cacao facilitator, retreat host and ecstatic dance DJ. Her mission is to bring more peace, love, joy and balance to Earth. She works with the medicines of plants, sound, music, and meditative movement to create spaces for freedom, expression, and release. Behind all that she does is the belief that when we come together with intention, we catalyze positive transformation and support the expansion of consciousness within ourselves, for the benefit of all.
