Join us on Thursday 10/23 for a hands-on event, in collaboration with American Farmland Trust, that will spotlight biochar and climate-resilient farming practices.
The day will include:
An overview of biochar and its applications
A guided tour of biochar trial plots here at White Feather Farm
Demonstrations from the NY Carbon and Biochar Learning Network
Panel discussions on policy, on-farm research, and farmer experiences
A locally sourced lunch and optional tour of the on-site kiln
The field walk will include ample time for questions, conversation, and farmer-to-farmer knowledge sharing. We welcome you to bring your insights and experiences to the discussion!
