The Seagull: A Rehearsal
August 14 & 15, 7pm 

Join White Feather Farm for its upcoming production of The Seagull, by Anton Chekhov. The Seagull is  the story of love and longing, life and death, ego and artistry set in the pastoral landscape of the Russian countryside. This  staged reading, a chance to share space with artists in process. 

Donations for the performances support White Feather Farm's food access initiatives to support food donations to Good Neighbor of Woodstock.

Meet the Cast

  • is an actor, playwright, director, and producer. He has performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, Regionally, and London's West End as well as on television and in film. Additionally, he served as Associate Artistic Director of Gulfshore Playhouse in Naples, Florida for six seasons.   • is a writer, choreographer and performer. Their performances, which have been called "so extreme that they sometimes look and feel like exorcisms" (The New Yorker), interrogate and indict psychological and socio-political issues, particularly in the realms of gender, sexual orientation, and power struggles. Weaponizing spectacle and stark naturalism, character and self, humor and horror, their performance practice is rooted in the shattering effects of trauma, and the various selves that arise and haunt the individual from that shattering. Their work has been presented throughout New York City, domestically, and internationally. Their 16th full-length performance work, My Town, a queering of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, will be at NYU Skirball November 21rst and 22nd of 2025. Ferver teaches at Bard College. jackferver.com

  • is a director, writer, actor and producer of works for stage and film. He is the founder of i am a slow tide, a performance collective that activates alternative pathways of consideration. Follow him on instagram @gus.heagerty. He is a very happy resident of the Hudson Valley.

  • is a NYC based actor, originally from County Wicklow, Ireland. She will next be seen in the independent feature Mother Future Self directed by Tori Lancaster and appeared in Maria Schrader's She Said for Universal. Television credits include Apple's WeCrashed opposite Anne Hathaway, HBO's The Gilded Age, Peacock's Girls5Eva and Hulu's RAMY. She is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London.
